All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office of the scientific and practical journal Phthisiopulmonology” undergo mandatory screening for textual similarity using the StrikePlagiarism system.

The screening is conducted at the stage of the initial editorial assessment, prior to sending the manuscript for peer review.

During the screening process, the following aspects are evaluated:

  • the overall percentage of textual similarity;

  • the nature of the detected similarities;

  • the correctness of citation and referencing;

  • the presence of self-citation;

  • indications of improper borrowing or a compilative nature of the work.

The editorial office accepts only properly cited borrowings with mandatory reference to the original source.
