Relevance. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, more than 95% of children receive vaccinations according to the National Immunization Schedule; however, measles outbreaks in 2023 indicate that the officially reported coverage rates may not fully reflect the level of herd immunity.

The aim of the study – to assess the completeness of vaccination coverage, including tuberculosis vaccination, as well as revaccination among children born in 2023, in the follow-up dynamics 20 months after the initial study.

Materials and methods. A retro- and prospective study of 200 electronic child development records was conducted at the outpatient clinic of City Clinical Hospital No.5.

Results and discussion. Dynamic analysis showed that: BCG vaccination against tuberculosis and
hepatitis B vaccination were received by 178 children (89%) и 176 children (88%), respectively; the first dose of Infanrix-Hexa was administered to 99 children (57,9%). Pentaxim was given to 81 children (47,4%). The second dose of Infanrix-Hexa was received by 67 children (39,2%). The first dose of Prevenar vaccine was administered to 107 children (62,6%); the second dose to 76 children (44,4%); the third dose to 48 children (28,1%). The measles, rubella and mumps (MMR) vaccine was administered to 105 children (61,4%). Oral poliovirus revaccination was received by 67 children (39,2%). Pentaxim revaccination was given to 17 children (10%). The first dose of hepatitis A vaccine was administered to 22 children (12,9%), and the second dose to 2 children (1,2%).
