Currently, there are no more effective preventive programs in medicine worldwide
than vaccination.

The aim of the study was to assess the completeness of vaccination coverage, including
tuberculosis vaccination, as well as revaccination among children born in 2022, in the follow-up
dynamics 20 months after the initial study.

Materials and methods: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted in November 2025
at the outpatient hospital of City Clinical Hospital No.5, analyzing 204 electronic immunization
records from the national Registry. By November 2025, out of 204 children, 154 remained
registered with the outpatient clinic; however, 10 children transferred to kindergarten and, as a
result, were unavailable in the Registry, therefore, only 144 children participated in the study.

Results and discussion: Analysis of vaccination coverage among children older than three years
showed the following: BCG vaccination against tuberculosis by 178 children (89%), hepatitis B
vaccination 176 children (88%), Infanrix Hexa (first dose) – 119 children (82,6%); Infanrix Hexa
(second dose) – 88 children (61,1%); Pentaxim – 100 children (69,4%); Prevenar (first dose) –
134 children (93%); Prevenar (second dose) – 94 children (65,3%); Prevenar (third dose) – 61
children (42,4%); MMR – 120 children (83,3%) were received. Revaccination with OPV and
Pentaxim was administered to 76 children (52,8%) and 44 children (28,6%), respectively.
Hepatitis A vaccination received: first dose – 68 children (44,2%), second dose – 31 children
(20,1%).

Conclusion: The above vaccination and revaccination coverage rates, as well as the ages at which
the vaccines were administered in the outpatient clinic, were lower than city and national
averages, which is associated with 42 completely unvaccinated children.

Key words: children, vaccination, the tuberculosis, vaccine BCG, revaccination, vaccination
calendar, coverage, dynamic, observation.

Скачать: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF VACCINATION COVERAGE, INCLUDING TUBERCULOSIS VACCINATION AND REVACCINATION DATA AMONG THREE-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN IN DYNAMICS IN THE OUTPATIENT CLINIC

Скачано: 66, размер: 0

Received: 08.12.2025 Accepted: 09.12.2025 Published online: 31.12.2025 UDC: 616-002.5-053.2+615.371 DOI: 10.26212/2227-1937.2025.84.68.007 COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF VACCINATION COVERAGE, INCLUDING TUBERCULOSIS VACCINATION AND REVACCINATION DATA AMONG THREE-YEAR-OLD

[58,60
