All manuscripts submitted to Phthisiopulmonology<\/em><\/strong> are subject to mandatory peer review to ensure their scientific quality and relevance in the fields of phthisiology, pulmonology, and related medical sciences.<\/p>\n

Review Process<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Initial Screening \u2013 Within three days, the Scientific Consultant checks each submission for compliance with the journal\u2019s scope and formal requirements.<\/li>\n
  2. Expert Review \u2013 Independent specialists in tuberculosis, respiratory diseases, and allied fields evaluate the manuscript. Reviews are confidential, voluntary, and impartial.<\/li>\n
  3. Editorial Board Decision \u2013 The Editorial Board meets every two months to approve the final list of manuscripts. The Board may request additional expert opinions if necessary.<\/li>\n
  4. Final Approval \u2013 The Editor-in-Chief (or deputies\/consultant) approves the content after technical preparation. Authors may review the final layout before publication.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Author Notification<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Positive decision \u2013 The manuscript is placed in the publication queue; authors may request approximate publication dates.<\/p>\n

    Revisions required \u2013 The article is returned for correction or a reasoned response; revised versions undergo repeated review.<\/p>\n

    Rejection \u2013 Authors receive the reviewer\u2019s comments and an official letter of refusal.<\/p>\n

    Manuscripts that do not meet the journal\u2019s formatting or submission requirements are not considered for publication. Resubmitted manuscripts are treated as new submissions.<\/p>\n
